Came in for an oil change and many other things (2014 Subaru forester with 200k plus miles) and when I got my car back my trunk wouldn’t open for some reason and my alignment was a little off cause of a tire rod issue that I didn’t know was damaged before. Max totally took care of me. When I brought my car back in and then got it back, my trunk was fixed and they fixed the tire rod issue without charging me!! He knew I was having some distrust cause most auto shops are sketch. Not Coopers automotive. They’ll make sure that you’re not only taken care of but that you can actually trust them and want to come back. If you can get one thing from this review it should be that you can 100% trust coopers automotive with your vehicle. I know I will definitely be coming back in the future!! Also if you don’t have a ride they’ll make sure that they can call a Lyft for you to get to work! Very reliable!

Max and his team are top notch. I’ve had a few complicated issues with my truck but they saw it through to the end for significantly less than the path the dealership was indicating was necessary. I’m very happy with their service. And simpler things like oil changes are a breeze. Never going to the dealership again!

I’m fairly new in town. Last year. Finding
a new car-care place is as important to me as finding a new hairstylist. VERY!
I’m happy to say I found it at Cooper’s: Max, Bryan, all. They listen & suggest. No mansplaining. I trust them & recommend them. You won’t regret it & will sleep easier at night.

After moving from another independently-owned auto shop, I came across Cooper's, but my expectations have not been met. Customer service has always been great, so thank you for that.

But, when it comes to attention-to-detail, cleanliness, and thoroughness, I will not be a returning customer. Between two vehicles over four visits, two visits have be not good. The first visit, they forgot to attach an oil filter access panel, and only later did I discover it. I had to go back to the shop for them to install it.

On another oil change they again forgot to install the panel (I reminded them to double-check), discovered by me, and when I got home to more closely inspect, they forgot to install one of the four bolts.

Additionally, they dripped oil from the filler neck down into the engine compartment, it pooled, and when I got home after an hour or so, dirty oil had gotten onto my driveway and garage floor, both of which were challenging to clean. Not to mention that I now have an oily mess on the side of my engine block and other components.

This has left me with a feeling that they are sloppy, don't pay attention to detail, and makes me worried about other items they forgot.

As such, I don't trust Cooper's and won't be a returning customer, for my vehicle, nor my wife's, nor will I refer them. Again, the customer service has always been good, but that only goes so far.

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Customer service was good and several hours later I returned to pick up my car. The next day, both the oil light and the tire pressure light came on. I checked the dipstick and the level was below the second dot (safety line). Apparently, they did not put enough oil in it and did not check the air pressure in the tires after rotating. When I brought it back, I was told the oil level was down about 1/4 quart (that set off the light?) and that all the tires were low on air pressure. I have had the oil changed and tires rotated for many, many years now and I have never had the oil not filled completely nor the tires not properly inflated. Maybe that's not unusual?

Edit: Cooper's made things right by offering my next oil change/rotation for free. I believe this was an honest mistake and will not happen again. If it does, I will be sure to post.

I have never heard anyone complain about the shop. The people that work there are wonderful. The place is spotless when you walk in and you are greeted with a smile. Highly recommend for anyone in Lafayette, Louisville, or Erie. I would rather support the shop than the big franchise shops.
